There are some enquiries we are particularly proud of. This was one of them.
When a care home contacted the Dolgozz App team, we already had experience in home nursing and home care services. Through our platform, optimised specifically for this sector, we were well aware of the challenges faced by care professionals daily.
However, this time the task was different.
The institution sought a solution that would simplify both employee attendance management and daily task documentation.
Lots of Paper, Lots of Administration
During personal consultations, it quickly became apparent how much administration is involved in the daily operations of such an institution.
Checklists, daily tasks, documentation of completed activities, attendance data – a wealth of information that needs to be accurate, traceable, and retrievable later.
The problem wasn't that these processes didn't work.
Rather, it was that they worked with too much paper.
The goal was not to add yet another administrative system for the staff. Quite the opposite: we wanted less administration.
Digital Checklists Replaced Paper Sheets
We digitised daily tasks and checks within the Dolgozz App.
Staff can see on their phones what tasks need to be completed and can document them easily. Depending on the process, this could be filling out a checklist, recording task completion, adding notes, or where necessary, photographic documentation.
This way, staff don't need to search for, fill out, and later submit separate papers.
The system guides them through the daily tasks.
This was particularly important to us: digitalisation should not be an additional burden for those providing care but should make their work easier.
Who Did What and When?
The other major advantage of digitalisation was retrievability.
Instead of paper-based documentation, completed tasks can be reviewed digitally. This makes it easier to check, even months later, what tasks were completed on a given day and what documentation was created for them.
This is linked to Dolgozz App's attendance management, so employee attendance and daily work become transparent within the same system.
Visible Changes After One Month
We are particularly pleased that even after the first month's experiences, we significantly simplified daily operations.
Less paper, simpler administration, more transparent task completion, and easier retrievable documentation.
But perhaps this is not the most important result.
The role of technology here is not to bring more administration into people's lives but to take as much of it away as possible.
In an area where staff time and attention should primarily focus on people, this is particularly significant.
